F1 Racing is a magazine made especially for the Formula One Car racing. It is a monthly magazine which started in 1996 of March. The company Haymarket of United Kingdom owns this magazine which is published in English. The editor of F1 racing is Anthony Rowlinson currently. Matt bishop, a former editor used to write a column fortnight for the Autosport magazine as well.
This magazine has the title of world’s best selling Grand Prix magazine with over more than 100 issues. It is printed and available in more than 20 countries of the world which include United Arab Emirates, Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Netherlands, UK, USA etc. Many famous journalists and photographers like Peter Windsor, Alan Henry, Darren Heath, Lorenzo Bellanca etc participated in making this magazine over the years.
Michael Schumacher appeared on the first edition of this magazine back in march 1996 and has appeared more than 40 times ever since; this lead to the making of a special edition for him in 2001. Lewis Hamilton is on the 2nd position in Formula One Championship with 216 points appeared on the cover of F1 racing magazine for the March edition of 2014.
In 1997, F1 racing photographer caught the issue of double brake pedals being used in the racing car by McLaren. The photographer Darren Heath took a photograph of the car and it was then printed in the November issue of F1 racing. This story was referred to as Brake steer and this system of double brake, though legal, was then banned at the Brazilian Grand Prix of 1998 after the protests by Ferrari.
