Man City has the opportunity to become the first team to be able to reach the domestic treble in England after becoming the Premier League and League Cup champions In addition to these facts, following a number of interesting facts 2019 FA Cup quoted from Opta:

1. Man City has the chance to become the fourth team to win the English Premier League and FA Cup title in one season after Arsenal in the 1992/1993 season, Liverpool in 2000/2001, and Chelsea in 2006-2007.

2. Man City for the 11th time appeared in the FA Cup final and the first since 2013, when they lost 1-0 to Wigan Athletic. Man City has now collected five FA Cup titles (1904, 1934, 1956, 1969 and 2011). While Watford had only once appeared in the FA Cup final in 1984 when they were still trained by Graham Taylor and lost 2-0 to Everton at Wembley.

3. Man City won the last three meetings against Watford in the FA Cup, winning 3-1 in 1996/1997, 3-0 in 2012/2013 and 4-2 in 2013/14. While Watford’s only victory over Man City in the FA Cup occurred in the 1985/86 season.

4. Watford have always lost the last ten meetings against Man City in all competitions, conceding 32 goals. Overall Watford have won three of Man City in the last 15 meetings (13 defeats, two draws). Finally Watford won 1-0 in March 1989.

5. Gerard Deulofeu is Watford’s top score in all competitions this season with 12 goals. Nine of the 12 goals scored by the former Barcelona player in the last 13 matches. Meanwhile Sergio Aguero was involved in 12 goals in the last seven games against Watford in all competitions (10 goals, 2 assists). Total Aguero scored 32 goals for Man City in all competitions this season.

6. Pep Guardiola (Man City) and Javi Garcia (Watford) from Spain are the first managers from the same country since 2008 (Dave Jones and Harry Redknapp) who were able to meet in the FA Cup final. While the first two outside England coaches who were able to meet in the FA Cup final were Arsene Wenger and Gerard Houllier in 2001.

7. Between Pep Guardiola or Javi Garcia will be the third Spanish coach to win the FA Cup title, after Rafael Benitez (2006, Liverpool) and Roberto Martinez (2013, Wigan).
