Speculation about Eden Hazard’s future at Chelsea continues to be the main topic of conversation lately. His teammate, Cesc Fabregas, participated in the chat by expressing doubts he could see Hazard at Stamford Bridge next season.
In the summer transfer market, Hazard became one of Real Madrid’s main players to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. After being widely reported to be moving, the Belgian player decided to stay.
The interest from the Spanish club still exists today, and Hazard is believed to be moving this summer. You could say, there is almost no reason for him not to leave Foot of Stamford Bridge next season.
According to some reports, Madrid and Chelsea will announce the player’s move after the Europa League final on Thursday (30/5). This was intended so that Hazard could mobilize his full focus on the important party.
Now, the Europa League is over. Hazard became a star in the counter-Arsenal party by scoring two of four goals which then made the Blues come out as winners with a landslide score of 4-1.
Fabregas was invited by BT Sport to be the pandit in the match. The midfielder who is now playing for AS Monaco seems to confirm that Hazard’s departure is almost certain to occur.
“We must respect his decision, and enjoy his actions in other countries. But surely he will play well,” said the man from Spain.
Aside from Hazard, the Europa League final is also predicted to be the farewell to the coach, Maurizio Sarri. Some reports say that the Italian man will be sacked despite successfully presenting the Europa League title.
Lately, the former Napoli captain has often been linked with Italian giants Juventus. Sarri is considered a successor to Massimiliano Allegri who decided to no longer coach the Bianconeri next season.
One of his players, David Luiz, hopes that Sarri can survive at Stamford Bridge next season. However, the Brazilian defender also cannot guarantee that because various rumors continue to link Sarri with other clubs.
“We will be happy to be with him again next season. He has carried out his duties well. But I do not know. I have heard a lot of rumors in recent days,” David Luiz told Sky Sports.
