Francesco Bagnaia’s the Winner of the 2024 Austrian MotoGP

The 2024 MotoGP standings have changes after Francesco Bagnaia finished first at the 2024 Austrian GP, Sunday (18/8).

Racer Francesco Bagnaia succeeded in becoming the winner of the 2024 Austrian MotoGP race at the Red Bull Ring Circuit.

With this victory, Bagnaia succeeded in maintaining the top position in the 2024 MotoGP standings by collecting 275 points.

At the start of the race, Prima Pramac Racing Ducati racer Jorge Martin managed to take pole position followed by Ducati Lenovo Team racer Francesco Bagnaia in second place.

Meanwhile, Gresini Racing racer Marc Marquez, who started third on the grid, collided with another racer, forcing him to go wide at the first corner and dropping him to 14th place.

In the front row Martin led followed by Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini. In the second lap, Bagnaia managed to overtake Martin to lead the 2024 Austrian MotoGP race.

Bagnaia was almost overtaken by Martin again at the last corner of the second lap but Pecco was able to cover Martin’s maneuver.

On the fourth lap, Marquez took action and managed to improve his position to 10th. Marquez pushed back up to seventh position on the ninth lap.

On the 10th lap, Marquez was almost able to move up to sixth position, displacing Jack Miller, but failed after Marquez’s hand stuck to Miller’s rear tire, causing The Baby Alien to go slightly wide. But Marquez can still maintain the balance of the motorbike so it doesn’t fall.

On the 11th lap, Jack Miller fell himself while being followed by Marquez. Marquez also rose to sixth position.

Now Marquez is behind Pertamina Enduro VR46 racer Marco Bezzecchi who is in fifth position. Marquez continues to stick to Bezzecchi.

On the 17th lap, Marc Marquez finally managed to shift Bezzecchi. When Marquez overtook him at the corner, Bezzecchi shook but didn’t fall. Even on the next lap, Marquez was able to move up to fourth position, shifting Brad Binder.

Until the last five laps of the 2024 Austrian MotoGP race, the composition of the front row had not changed. Bagnaia is still leading followed by Martin, Bastianini and Marquez.

Finally, Bagnaia won the 2024 Austrian MotoGP, followed by Martin and Bastianini in second and third positions. Meanwhile, Marquez finally finished fourth.
