Frenkie de Jong Absent from Dutch National Team, Ronald Koeman Blames Barcelona

The 61 year old coach also admitted that he did not want to take the risk of bringing in Frenkie de Jong, who has a right ankle injury. Ronald Koeman also blamed Barcelona, ​​so the Netherlands had to pay a heavy price for losing one of its best players.

“He has a history of injuries to his right ankle and there is no point in taking risks. His club has taken risks before and now we have to pay the price,” he concluded.
