Almost every tennis player has an account on social media. Some players are not very active, while others are very active and Garbine Muguruza is in the second category.

In a recent interview, the tennis player who has claimed two Grand Slam titles was asked if he posts his activities via social media.

Garbine Muguruza replied, “99% yes, although I need approval or filter from time to time to avoid chaos, but I love taking photos, videos, and going on adventures.”

“I do it through Instagram, the social media that brings out the most visuals. It attracts me to work on it, even if it takes time, because I also enjoy seeing how other people are doing it and it’s a positive way to get closer to my fans.”

The 2016 French Open champion certainly enjoyed posting via social media, but now, his main focus is training. He wants to play very well in the 2021 season, especially because his performance in the 2020 season is not that bright.

The tennis player, who won her first Grand Slam title by beating Serena Williams in the final, got off to a spectacular start to the 2020 season after she advanced to the final of the Australian Open, despite finishing as runner up. Before long, the tennis tournament was suspended due to the pandemic and after that, he failed to show his best.

Currently, the tennis player who has qualified for the third round of the 2020 French Open, is ranked 15th in the world, a position that is quite far from the position he wanted as when he was perched at number 1 in the world.

In the 2021 season, the Spanish tennis star is definitely looking to return to the prestigious rankings and win the Australian Open title for the first time in his career.

Apart from that Garbine Muguruza is also certainly eyeing a third Grand Slam title in his career. He certainly hopes to make it happen when the 2021 Australian Open starts on 8 February.

Prior to that, he will start the 2021 season by playing in the WTA level 500 tournament held in Abu Dhabi as the fifth seed and will start against French national Kristina Mladenovic.
