German League Results: Bayern Munich win 5-0 over Fortuna

Bayern Munich pack a victory over Fortuna Dusseldorf in the German League match continued at the Allianz Arena Stadium on Saturday (5/30).

Two of Bayern Munich’s five goals were created by Robert Lewandowski, the other goals were contributed by Benjamin Parvard and Alphonso Davies. Another goal was born from an own goal by Mathias Joergensen.

It took the Bundesliga leaders 15 minutes to open the win. A cross from Thomas Muller was reached by Serge Gnabry who immediately passed it to Benjamin Pavard. The French full back fired a shot that was actually wide of the target, but Zanka Jorgensen deflected the ball towards his own goal.

After a 1-0 advantage, Bayern dominated possession. Statistics show the host plays the ball as much as 82 percent. Dusseldorf really forced to survive.

The match then runs open. Dusseldorf had threatened goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Bayern also has a chance to widen the advantage.

Score 5-0 last until the fight broke up. Bayern got an additional three points from this victory and leads the standings with 67 points.

Bayern Munich’s full-back, Alphonso Davies, said his team’s victory over Fortuna Duesseldorf was not easy.

Regarding the victory achieved by his team, Alphonso Davies said that Bayern managed to maintain mental well. What’s more, the victory was achieved shortly after they won over rivals Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

“Today’s match is certainly difficult after the match against Dortmund,” Davies was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.

“We want to maintain the same mentality and get three points. We succeeded,” he said.

In addition, the 19-year-old Canadian defender said he wanted to always enjoy football matches with a victory.

“I enjoy football and try to do my best every day,” he said.

“I want to win every game,” Davies said.
