Get to know Aaron Ramsey, the quiet one that not fancy nightlife

Having abundant of wealth makes some famous soccer players close to nightlife. But Aaron Ramsey is different. Arsenal midfielder who will join Juventus next season just did not like it.

A handful of famous European footballers are often seen as one of the visitors at one of the nightclubs. One of them was Ronaldinho, who had been found spending time at a club with beautiful women until early morning.

But, the tightness of soccer players with nightlife actually does not apply to Aaron Ramsey. The Welshman actually felt he didn’t fit into the world even though he, financially, was able to do it.

Not suitable with the nightlife
The former Wales Under-17 and Under-21 national team coach, Brian Flynn, was a witness to Aaron Ramsey’s away drom nightlife. Once, he had seen the player try to come out with his team mates and return to the hotel the next 10 minutes.

“We faced Sweden in a trial match at Halmstad, we lost 1-3 and Aaron entered in the second round and changed the game. We won 4-3,” Flynn said as quoted by The Sun.

“After the match, the players asked permission to leave the hotel for one hour. Aaron decided to come with them, and I along with the coaches sat in the lobby. In 10 minutes, Aaron returned alone,” he continued.

“I asked him if he had a problem, and he just replied: ‘No, this doesn’t suit to me, Bri’ then goes back to bed. I don’t think he ever fits into the nightlife,”

Professional figure
Apart from being away from nightlife, Ramsey is also known as a quiet person. Even so, his professionalism made many young players his age at that time make him a role model. This is illustrated by the experience of the Arsenal academy Gavin Hoyte.

“When he arrived for the first time, he was very quiet. Secretly suspicious. I was not sure I had heard him speak in the locker room. You saw him practice and immediately wanted to try copying it,” said Hoyte.

“He made us, in the academy, try to be a little more professional. I think it was helped by the origin of Cardiff, rather than us who appeared to rank since we were little,” he added.

“Surrounded by experienced players from a very young age influenced him. He instantly had the responsibility to be a role model for all young players. He carried it on his shoulders and was still an inspiration to those who want to do the same thing,”

Football is everything for him
Ramsey’s love of football is difficult to measure. According to the testimony of former Cardiff assistant coach Terry Burton, Ramsey even prioritized football rather than the money he had earned from a club.

“There is nothing else he loves besides playing football. Nobody can compete with that, whether it is a big contract or more money. He will feel more heartbroken if the contract prevents him from playing regularly,” Burton said.

With his character, some of the closest people are sure that Ramsey will become a big player at Juventus someday. Even bigger than figures who decorate Wales history books such as Ian Rush or John Charles.

“He will be an important player for Juventus. I think he will be a bigger figure than Rush. The challenge he has now is heavy, namely whether he can be bigger than Charles,” Flynn continued.

“Speaking of the iconic figure at Juventus, there is no Wales person who is bigger than himself and his achievements. If Aaron is able to reach that level, he will be someone special,” he concluded.
