Global Gaming Expo Asia witnesses a huge attendance in its 10th year

Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia 2016 was a huge hit this year and it broke all previous records. This huge event co-organised by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions witnessed huge attendance and it delivered popular networking and educational programs in its 10th year. This is a platform for all the gaming companies to showcase their products to other manufacturers, partners, gaming enthusiasts as well as to network with them. This year was another big record breaking year for G2E. A total of 10,984 visitors from 83 countries and regions attended this event this year which is a increase of 11 percent as compared to its last year attendance. Among the guests who attended the Expo this year were some 950 serious buyers who interacted with different gaming products and gaming software manufacturers. This is a significant increase of 43 percent from the year 2015 and more and more buyers were the ones who were decision makers or had purchasing power.

G2E Asia 2016 witnessed a gathering of dignitaries from local government and business organisation as well as the international gaming industry where companies from all over the world participated in it. G2E Asia 2016 inaugural edition of the Asia Gaming Awards Ceremony was produced by Asia Gaming Brief in association with G2E Asia and The Innovation Group. At this ceremony eleven awards were presented to gaming operators, suppliers and industry leaders with outstanding contribution to Asian gaming industry in their respective fields.

Second day of the G2E Asia conference included key note speakers Aaron Fischer, head of Consumer & Gaming Research at brokerage and investment group CLSA who offered his comprehensive and updated assessment of the Asia and International gaming markets. Mr. Paul Martinis Chan, director of The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau Macao SAR spoke about focus on assessing different opportunities within the market for better growth.  Nearly 30 gaming regulatory professionals attended the first ever Gaming Regulators Networking luncheon on May 18 and discussed ideas and shared updates on how they can work together.

Josephine Lee, Executive Vice President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China, said: “The 10th edition of G2E Asia has achieved new milestone and set new records in many aspects including the number of visitors, delegates and VIP buyers, which truly reflects G2E Asia as the industry event for forward-looking casino operators and suppliers in Asia. We will continue to innovate with initiatives to enhance the attendees’ experience by engaging and working closely with the industry, government and industry associations.”
