Currently Man City was playing pre-season games International Champions Cup in the United States. After losing 0-1 to Borussia Dortmund, Guardiola hope to win the game against Liverpool on Thursday (26/7), and Bayern Munich, Sunday (29/7).
Man City will then return to England to prepare for Chelsea in the Community Shield as the opening game of the English League 2018/2019.
“The record we had last season is a consequence of what we have done every day, that’s the point,” Guardiola insisted.
