Guardiola Rejected 3 Times, Juventus Choose Sarri

Guardiola Rejected 3 Times, Juventus Choose Sarri

Juventus have reportedly agreed with Maurizio Sarri to coach the Bianconeri next season. The club chose Sarri because Pep Guardiola was denied three times.

This news emerged from Italian football observer Tancredi Palmeri. Through SNAI Sports News reported by Express, he revealed that Juventus had forgotten the desire to recruit Guardiola and finally made a choice on Sarri.

The figure of the Spanish manager later continued to be associated with Juventus. Italian media AGI claims the Turin team will introduce Guardiola on June 14. Guardiola was said to have agreed to replace Allegri. The Manchester City manager will receive a salary of € 28 million over the next four years.

However, rumors that emerged were contrary to the observations made by Palmeri. He revealed that Guardiola had rejected Juventus’ offer three times.

The manager, who still has a contract at Man City until 2022, first rejected Juventus’ offer last March. A month later, the collection of 35 Italian League titles again approached and was rejected by Guardiola.

The last offer was again launched by Juventus, a few weeks ago. The result is the same because the former Barcelona coach had no desire to leave The Citizens.

The refusal of Guardiola made Juventus switch to Sarri. In fact, La Vecchia Signora has reached an agreement with the coach who is expected to leave Chelsea after the Europe League final on 29 May.

At Juventus, Sarri will get paid € 7 million for the next three years. Sarri’s announcement as a new Juventus coach reportedly will take place after the Blues met Arsenal in the Europe League final at Baku Olympic Stadium, Azerbaijan.

Sarri himself is still under contract at Chelsea until June 30, 2021. But his position as manager is reportedly unclear because the West London team wants Frank Lampard to coach the team next season.

If a true agreement is established with Sarri officially training Juventus, the former Napoli coach is called to ask the Old Lady to bring Paul Pogba. Tuttosport claims, Pogba is in the plans for Sarri’s Juventus starting eleven.

Later, the 26-year-old midfielder will be placed next to Miralem Pjanic who is plotted as a playmaker in a 4-3-3 formation. In addition to both, there are also new recruits, Aaron Ramsey, who filled the middle of the 2018-2019 Serie A championship.

While Daniele Rugani will be at the heart of the defense with senior defender and captain Giorgio Chiellini. Rugani was prepared as a core player, shifting Leonardo Bonucci. To complete the scheme of four defenders, Sarri is predicted to place Alex Sandro and Joao Cancelo.

On the other hand, the uncertainty of the future at Manchester United could bring Pogba back to Juventus. The situation seemed to be read by Maurizio Sarri, to then put the French international into the main scheme.

Pogba once dressed in Juventus in the duration of 2012-2016 before moving to Manchester United with a value of 89 million pounds. Later, he was already intensely reported back to Turin, in addition to Real Madrid who also had a great opportunity to bring him.
