Tennis News: Andy Murray’s return to the world of professional tennis after undergoing surgery is described as something that cannot be trusted by one of England’s former flagship players, Henman Team.
Less than 12 months ago, Andy Murray revealed in an emotional press conference that he might be forced to retire from tennis due to a hip injury that still haunted him after failing to fully recover from his first operation.
However, Murray’s career slowly returned thanks to a second operation. Shortly after the 2019 Australian Open, he returned to dealing with a scalpel to correct hip problems, a procedure that involved attaching metal to Murray’s hips.
Back in competition in June by only dropping in doubles, Murray made steady progress. Even in October, he claimed his first single number title after fasting for more than two seasons by beating Stan Wawrinka in the Antwerp final.
Currently occupying the 126th place in the world, Andy Murray will head to Australia to start the 2020 season which he hopes to be injury-free. The rise of Murray has been praised by his compatriot, Henman. They will work together in January after Henman captains the English team at the ATP Cup.

“The things he was able to achieve after facing all obstacles could not be trusted. When he cries at a press conference, you feel his career is over. “Can win again the ATP tournament title 10 months later, showing that he is still a competitor,” said Henman.

Henman hopes that Murray will be fully healthy on time to compete in the ATP Cup, a tournament called a threat to the Davis Cup whose format has been overhauled.
The ATP Cup will start on January 3 with a total of 24 teams will take part.
We know in advance that Murray was excited to play at the Australian Open, a tournament where he announced the latest condition of his hip problems in January and with tears in his eyes he also stated that he was considering retiring.
“I was asked what will make me successful in Australia and I don’t know how I will perform. And don’t expect to win the tournament, but if I can play five sets, get through it, and not feel pain in my hips, then it’s success. ”
