FIFA has suspended the Indonesian Association Football Club or known PSSI. Now, there is no more a chance for us to join the World cup. As we know, our Association Football Club had interference by government in this case is the Ministry of Sports and Youth Imam Nahrawi.
The impact of this decision is screwy. For example, Indonesia not allowed to join world competitions or to hold super league. In this case, PSSI and government don’t want to be blamed. Both side claimed were right.
The problem is how to find the solution, instead to searching justification each other. Today, Indonesians only can wait and see what’s next. As we know, both sides still waiting what will be the court decided.
Is our football team (Garuda team) getting worse? This is a big question, since 2002, our football team never to win any world title. Also there is a rumor that PSSI controlled by the Mafia. Even though was denied by PSSI Chairman La Nyalla Mattalitti. So much slander aimed to PSSI.
Match fixing accusation
There was a accused match fixing allegation during the 2015 Southeast Asia Games (SEA Games) aimed to U-23 team. Some parties claimed can show the evidence in a recording form. The contents in the recording about match fixing conversation. But, it was denied by former Minister Youth and Sports in this case Roy Suryo. He said there was a conversation on match fixing on the third floor of the Sports and Youth Affair’s Ministry’s building. He also claimed can prove it.
Based on Roy Suryo claimed, it does not make sense or stupidity. Why? How come a slander can came from Ministry Youth and Sports building? If it true, it’s clear that Imam Nahrawi really not qualify. Maybe it needs more investigation by Indonesian Police.
Now, many Indonesians may be getting confused by Imam Nahrawi policy. Each single day, too much problems created by this Minister.

After froze the PSSI. Many psrties became suffered, especially the Indonesian football stars who get salary from the club. They quit joining their club because some of football clubs have disbanded. Just say them: Persipura Jayapura, Persib Bandung, Persis Solo, Persiba Balikpapan, and so on. The impact, some players become between village players (Tarkam).

Government wants to reform PSSI
There are several reasons why government froze the PSSI. One of them is about professional. Government says that our national team minus champions title. Perhaps, by desire to reform our national football association and eventually to improve the performance of our football.
The effort to revamp the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has also received from Indonesian President Mr. Joko Widodo. Reform of a sport organization by political figure sometimes needed.
Now, responding to Indonesians desire, government will be held Menpora cup and Independence cup tournament. Perhaps, it is the best solution from government.
Football unlike any other, it so popular and also may make the country proud it. Hope our football rises again.
