After a break of almost two weeks, the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA) 2024 Fall resumed with Matchday 10-12 or Week 4. Although the Thai team dominated, RRQ Kazu, Bigetron Delta, and EVOS Divine managed to secure a position in the top 12. Meanwhile, ONIC Olympus and Star Knight Esports who were still outside the safe zone were determined to fight to qualify for the Grand Finals in Surabaya.
Week 4, which took place on September 13-15, 2024, was dominated by Buriram United Esports, who collected 217 points, totaling 817 points. Mariwat “Wassana” was the star with 35 eliminations.
RRQ Kazu only scored 126 points, increasing the total to 696, and getting closer to All Gamers Global (688) and Twisted Minds (669). RRQ Kazu’s coach, Adi Gustiawan, emphasized that the top position is not their main target. The team’s focus is on improving performance and endurance for the Knockout Stage and Grand Finals.
Bigetron Delta faced a tough week because some players had to participate in PON XXI Aceh-Sumut. Despite playing from Medan, they managed to get 175 points and rose to #8, pushing aside other teams including EVOS Divine and ONIC Olympus. Coach Chrisjo emphasized that the team’s communication was still going well despite the distance constraints.
ONIC Olympus (438) is at #13 and Star Knight Esports (387) is at #15, both trying to catch a safe position to qualify. ONIC Olympus Coach, AFM, is optimistic that his team can improve their performance in the remaining two weeks before the Knockout Stage.
