Inter Milan vs Feyenoord Result: Score 2-1 (Agg. 4-1)

Inter Milan successfully defeated Feyenoord with a score of 2-1 in the second leg of the 2024/2025 Champions League round of 16 held at Giuseppe Meazza, Tuesday (11/3/2025).

Inter’s two winning goals were scored by Marcus Thuram in the first half and Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty in the second half. Feyenoord had equalized through Jakub Moder’s penalty.

Thanks to this result, Inter is entitled to advance to the last 8 with an aggregate victory of 4-1 after winning 2-0 in the first leg. In the quarter-finals, Inter will meet Bayern Munich.

The match had only been going on for eight minutes, Inter had already managed to open the lead. Thuram’s individual action ended with a hard shot that hit Timon Wellenreuther’s goal.

In the 39th minute, VAR assessed that there was a violation committed by Francesco Acerbi against Moder in the penalty box. A penalty was awarded to Feyenoord and converted into a goal by Moder.

There were no additional goals from either team. The 1-1 draw lasted until halftime.

Entering the second half, it was Inter’s turn to get a penalty in the 50th minute after Thomas Bellen fouled Mehdi Taremi. Calhanoglu, who was the executioner, successfully defeated Wellenreuther.

In the 67th minute, Beelen again brought down an opponent in the penalty box. Referee Ivan Kruzliak initially gave a penalty to Inter. However, the decision was canceled after reviewing VAR.

There were no additional goals scored in the remaining time. The final score of 2-1 for Inter’s victory was the final result of this game.

The UEFA panellists voted Thuram as Player of the Match. The French forward’s contribution was indeed very significant in this match.
