Italian League Results: Inter Milan beat Brescia 2-1

Inter Milan won the victory thanks to goals from Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku when they visited Brescia headquarters in the ninth week of the Italian League match which took place at the Mario Rigamonti Stadium on Wednesday (30/10).

Playing at away does not make Inter Milan lose dominance. Antonio Conte’s squad ball possession of 66 percent compared to 33 percent owned by the host.

Antonio Conte’s squad immediately dominated the game since the initial whistle sounded by the referee. Marcelo Brozovic, Antonio Candreva, Martinez and Lukaku took a large role in Inter’s attacks against Brescia.

It took Inter until the 23rd minute to beat Brescia. Martinez’s shot from outside the penalty box that hit Andrea Cistana’s body made the ball soar and ended in the host’s goal.

La Leonesa’s squad then tried to retaliate Martinez’s goal, but Mario Balotelli and his friends were unable to tame the opponent’s defense.

Brescia tried to retaliate through striker Alfredo Donnarumma before halftime. But Donnarumma’s flight still hit Inter’s defense wall.

Balotelli only presents a significant threat in the second half of the match. The former Inter player had a chance in the 48th and 50th minutes that Samir Handanovic was still able to thwart.

The numbers on the scoreboard changed to 2-0 for the visitors in the 63rd minute. Goal scored Lukaku. After receiving a pass from Roberto Gagliardini on the right side, the former Manchester United player dribbled into the corridor in the middle of the field and fired a shot from outside the penalty box that could not be driven by goalkeeper Enrico Alfonso.

Brescia’s efforts to pursue excellence through Balotelli again failed. The Italian striker’s strike was still able to be secured by Handanovic in the 73rd minute.

Three minutes later Handanovic was unable to stop the ball released by Dimitri Bisoli and had a chance to hit Milan Skriniar.

Score 2-1 for Inter Milan did not change until the game broke up. An additional three points make Inter now top the standings past Juventus. While Brescia is still in the relegation zone.

In other matches, Parma defeated 0-1 when entertaining Verona. Now Parma is in eighth position with a point of 13 out of 10 matches, while Verona ranks 11th with a point of 12.
