Juventus started the season with a victory after a narrow 1-0 win over Parma in the first week of the Italian League at the Ennio Tardini Stadium on Saturday (8/24).
In this match, Juventus did not play any of their new players as a starter. Dominating the duel with possession reaching 61% and making 14 shots, Juventus wasted too many chances. Their superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, made 7 shots and one goal was disallowed by the referee. Juventus only won 1-0 with a goal scored by defender Giorgio Chiellini.
In the 4th minute, Juventus already have a chance through Douglas Costa’s shot which is still wide to the left of Parma’s goal. Two minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo’s shot from outside the penalty box also missed the target. Parma does not remain silent and has its own opportunities.
