Jack Grealish Claims More Suitable To Join Arsenal than Manchester United

Former West Ham United player, Shaka Hislop, gives an insight into the rumors of the transfer of Aston Villa star, Jack Grealish. Hislop said that Grealish would be very suitable and needed if you choose to join Arsenal in the 2020 summer transfer window.

As is known, Grealish’s performance in Villa’s midfield has indeed been a conversation since the player first debuted. Grealish’s performance was increasingly promising when he succeeded in bringing Villa back to promotion in the 2019-2020 English League.

While this season, Grealish is truly the backbone of Villa. The 24-year-old midfielder has so far contributed 10 goals and eight assists from 41 appearances in his Villa uniform.

Not only that, Grealish also played a crucial role behind the success of Villa to escape the abyss of degradation in the 2019-2020 English League. Yes, Grealish managed to bring The Villans – nicknamed Villa – finished in 17th position with 35 points.

The situation was what made Grealish have a chance to be approached by a number of top English Premier League teams. Of the several clubs, Man United became one of the teams with the most interest.

However, according to Hislop, Grealish would rather move to Arsenal than Man United in the 2020 summer transfer market. Because Hislop believes that Grealish will get more opportunities to play with Arsenal than at Man United.

“You see the Premier League standings and you wonder where Jack Grealish can play? I do not think he entered the starting line-up of the top two teams (Liverpool or Manchester City), “said Hislop, as quoted from Talksport, Monday (3/8/2020).

“Because of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba, I also don’t think he will be in the squad at Manchester United. While Chelsea is currently experiencing an excess of players in that position, “continued the 51-year-old man.

“Beyond that you are thinking of Tottenham or Arsenal. Maybe Tottenham had those needs after (Christian) Eriksen left. Of course, Mesut Ozil is no longer needed even though it is still in their squad until now. “

“You see it as a more natural replacement for Ozil’s position so it makes sense for clubs like Arsenal to recruit Grealish. “For Jack Grealish, if we talk about the Premier League club, I’m not sure he has many choices,” he concluded.
