After watching out the support which he gathered from his fans, he tweeted, “Thanks for all the messages. Always looking forward” This made his fans all over the world rejoiced and he felt more supportive.
In his native country Argentina, Jonas 31 years old has been operated. Latest news is that his left testicular has been removed. This operation is performed after detection of tumor. Right now he is going under the sessions of chemotherapy.
During last season on loan at Norwich, Jonas 10 goals. He scored them in 177 League for Magpies. His news regarding illness and testicular cancer was revealed on Tuesday by Velez Sarsfield and Mallorca during an interview. The two former players during interview depicted that Jonas is sad on his illness and he is much happy after watching support from his fans.
On getting knowing about cancer Jonas Gutierrez appeared much sad and he said during an interview with TyC Sports, “I detected a tumor in a testicle. When I confirmed the cancer, I went home crying, I came here and I assumed the costs despite having a contract with Newcastle. Money is not important. What is important is health. I had to start chemotherapy.” After the news was up on the sports forums, there was seen a big support for Argentina. On getting to know about his illness, his former team mate Adam Campbell tweeted, “Just come round from my op and been smacked right in the stomach after hearing about a great man Jonas Gutierrez being ill, keep strong bro.”
There was another tweet by his another former team mate, “Heard the terrible news. Wish him a speedy recovery. Great guy with a great family! My thoughts are with them all.”
Neil Harris former Millwall striker was also detected with testicular cancer but then he was treated well and started playing again. Jason Cundy Chelsea defender was also treated well with this cancer. So, it is a hope for Jonas fans that he will come back to the ground again.
