Jose Mourinho is reportedly has comprehensive talks with Manchester United over an extension to his contract at the club. However, it is unclear at this level what the length of any new contract would be.
Manchester United on Tuesday wrote on its official website that Mourinho has never missed a single training session after he coached the team and was dissatisfied with some of the media’s doubts about his professionalism.
Speaking to media, Mourinho on Tuesday told that he has done his contract halfway and he hopes to stay at the club at least the end of the season.
“It depends on what you want to know and what you wan to discuss with. If you want to discuss some news, I would say it is rubbish! I cannot find it.” Mourinho said.
“They’re better defined, and if you want to ask me, just point me, and that’s what I want, and you’re asking me if I’m looking forward to coaching Manchester United next season, and I will say yes, as I said, I left with no intention of leaving and my intention was to stay here and take the club to its right place.
“I hope to stay and find any reason to leave. Therefore, with a contract with Manchester United, my contract was in effect only halfway through my contract, and in the last few months, my desire was to leave it to the club, to the boss, to the board, to Mr. Ed Woodward depends on whether they are satisfied with my job or not and hopefully I will leave behind the contract and I want to stay.” Mourinho added.

The Portuguese’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has been involved in through talks with the Red Devils big boss Ed Woodward, as they plot a way forward, according to report.
“When talking about my job, I was the one who harmed on me with those rubbish news, and even if I was a bad manager, I said I didn’t play it to the extent that I made a mistake in the game. None of these questioned me.” Mourinho said.
