Since being sacked by Manchester United, Jose Mourinho has been unemployed at home, and there have been many rumors about his next home, but none of them.
According to reports, Mourinho has received an invitation to coach China national football team. For this reason, the Chinese side is even willing to give him a blank check, but the 56-year-old man rejected it.
In an interview with the media, football agent Giovanni Becali said that he had recently met Mourinho in London, and Mourinho revealed to him that he had received an invitation from China national football team.
“We met for breakfast in a hotel by his house. He told me that he’d received an offer from China to manage the national side and they put a blank cheque in front of him.” Becali said.
“He said to me, ‘Giovanni, I’m 54 and I want to work in Europe for five more years and then, when I’m 60, I’ll go to China.” he Romanian added.
Mourinho had expressed hope that he would regain his coaching this summer. Currently a lot of clubs including Real Madrid and Inter Milan are his potential home.
Madrid hoped they had found a coach to turn their season around when they promoted former stars Santiago Solari from their reserve team to take over from the fired Julen Lopetegui in late October.
