According to the father of Jules Bianchi, he is very less optimistic in regard to his son’s recovery from head injuries. Jules Bianchi received the head injuries last year during his crash at Japanese Grand Prix. On talking with France Info radio, Phillippe Bianchi said that Jules is in coma and there are no significant changes seen over his health. Jules Bianchi’s car was crashed down in last year October at Suzuka.
Foreseeing the health of Jules, his father said, “In general, progress needs to be made in the first six months. It has been nine months now and Jules has still not woken up.”
Jules Bianchi, 25, is under his treatment process for head injuries in hospital of his home city Nice. Further taking with France Info Radio, Phillippe Bianchi said, “As time goes by, I am less optimistic than I might have been two or three months after the accident when we could have hoped for better progress.” His father also said that there will come more difficulties if Jules Bianchi awakes from his comma. This will be more depressing for him. Jules Bianchi father also stated that before the accident took place we both talked about the seven – time Formula 1 accident which took place with Michael Schumacher and he suffered head injuries back in year 2013. He covered a long distance towards his recovery.
Phillippe Bianchi said, “If he had a severe handicap, we are convinced that is not what Jules would want. We talked about it. He discussed with us that if one day he had an accident like that of Michael Schumacher, that even if his only handicap was not being able to drive, he would have a lot of difficulty living because it was his life.” Jules Bianchi never even knew that he will pass through the same stage of difficulty as Michael did. According to his father driving was the core of Jules Bianchi’s life. Comma is better for him as he will face a lot of difficulties if he gets up.
Back in year 2013, Jules Bianchi joined Marussia. He has raced in about 34 grands prix and has earned two points of championship in Monaco Grand Prix last year.
