-Jurgen Klopp has been really busy in this summer break. He’s been buying and offloading players and changing the dynamics at Liverpool of late.
Liverpool signings this transfer window: Georginio Wijnaldum, Sadio Mane, Marko Grujic, Alex Manninger, Lorius Karius, Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan
Liverpool offloaded players: Joe Allen, Assaidi, Sergi Canos, Jordon Ibe, Jerome Sinclair, Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure, Samed Yesil, Jordan Rossiter.
Klopp feels his squad is now complete and there is nothing he would like to change currently in this squad.
“This is my squad now,” Klopp said. “After all the transfers…this time it is my team. There are probably no players here anymore I don’t want. There are no signings I didn’t want, we have not sold anyone I didn’t want to.” – He told in a press conference
“And if you have seen them in training, there is a special quality that we did not have last year.
“Above all, you can see we have created a special atmosphere, not only in our team but with our fans.”
“I’m not afraid of making decisions – it’s part of the job,” Klopp added. “I am happy with my team now – all I can say is we will be a challenger”
“We will fight for everything, for every cup and what will happen in the end we will see.

“Certainly at the moment we shouldn’t look for excuses and say things like ‘I need another year’ or things like that.”
Klopp has spent wisely and made some rather useful but unconventional signings this summer. He stated that he doesn’t mind taking big decisions, which is very much evident in his statements to Balotelli and in his offloading of Joe Allen. His side does seem consolidated and stronger as compared to previous seasons on paper. Will they actually finish on a high, it only remains to be seen.
