The Serie A giants’ ambition to get the signature of a sensational young star from Portugal, Joao Felix, has to run aground after their offer was rejected outright by the club’s owner, Benfica.
Felix is one of the talented young winger owned by Benfica. At the age of 18 years he managed to look spectacular in the Las Aguias wing sector.
Recently, Felix again broke a record where he became the youngest player to make a hat trick in the Europa League event against Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday.
The outstanding performance shown by Felix with Benfica made his name a struggle for some of Europe’s top clubs, starting from Real Madrid, Barcelona, to Manchester United.
Juventus did not want to miss hunting Felix. Reported, O Jogo, last week the Bianconeri released a bid worth 75 million euros to Benfica to want to release Felix in the summer.
However, this offer received a rejection from Benfica. They insisted on not being willing to let go of the young jewel if the incoming bid was less than the release price which reached 120 million euros.
Juventus seems quite eager to get Felix’s signature. The Old Lady believes that Felix can grow even more if he plays with the senior, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo himself reportedly also suggested to Juventus management to move to recruit Felix. On the other hand, Felix had expressed his desire to play with CR7.
Juventus are reportedly going to find a way to realize the ambition of bringing Felix, one of them by selling Paulo Dybala to find fresh funds.
