Manchester United’s efforts to defend David De Gea in the summer will get new challenges. Defending Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly interested in bringing the keeper to Turin in the summer.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper is currently entering his final year at Old Trafford. His contract with Manchester United will end in the summer of 2020.
Manchester United itself is trying to extend the goalkeeper’s contract. But so far their efforts have still not produced results after De Gea continued to reject the offer by reason of offering a salary from MU that was too small.
Reported by Le10 Sports, Juventus monitored De Gea’s situation at Old Trafford. The Serie A champions are rumored to be trying to bring the keeper in the summer.
The Le10Sports report claims that De Gea will be brought to Turin as a replacement for Wojciech Szczesny.

According to the report, Juventus must be prepared with no small amount of funds if they want to try to recruit De Gea from Old Trafford.
For the transfer keeper’s own dowry, Juventus must prepare funds of 60 million pounds. Manchester United reportedly do not want to reduce the selling price of the goalkeeper even though his contract will expire in the summer of 2020.
Not only that, they must be ready to pay De Gea with a nominal 350 thousand pounds per week, where that number exceeds the majority salary of the main players of Juventus this season.
