Adrien Rabiot’s transfer Saga to Juventus is likely to end in the near future. Reports from Italy state that the Bianconeri director Fabio Paratici has left for Paris to complete the contract negotiations with the PSG midfielder.
Rabiot has been linked with Juventus since the beginning of last summer. However, the Italian giants did not make any real moves until finally, Rabiot stated his refusal to offer a new contract from Les Parisiens.
The refusal resulted in Rabiot being marginalized from Thomas Tuchel’s core squad. He was last seen on the pitch in December 2018 then, precisely when PSG faced FK Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League group phase match.
Besides Juventus, Rabiot has also confirmed that he has been in a relationship with Manchester United. But in the end, referring to several reports, he chose Juventus as the next port club.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio believes that the player’s move to Juventus will be completed in the near future. He said that Paratici had flown to France to meet Rabiot’s representative and complete his contract.
It is known that Rabiot will get a five-year contract for a fee of seven million euros per season. In addition, the Bianconeri also has to give money of 10 million euros as a commission.
Previously, a number of media from France reported that Rabiot postponed his move to Juventus. Because it is believed the 25-year-old player is considering the offer of a new contract from PSG that is more tempting.
But the news was dismissed raw by his mother and agent Rabiot, Veronique. To the RTL, he said that his son had never been in touch with the new director, Leonardo, other than saying goodbye.
“There was no conversation between Leonardo and me. I only talked to him once by telephone, and we said goodbye politely,” Veronique said.
“There was no offer before, even now it does not, and it will not be in the future. There is absolutely no change,” he said.
