Klopp’s comments about the hope of winning the Premier League this season

Jurgen Klopp commented on the hope of winning the Premier League title this season for the club he manages Liverpool.

Klopp’s comments were made after the narrow defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates last weekend.

The Reds, who traveled to Arsenal’s headquarters, had to go home empty-handed, losing by a score of 2-3.

Klopp revealed, he was starting to be pessimistic about the chances of the Reds competing in the race for the English Premier League title this season.

In fact, the competition had just finished its 10th week.

Klopp also added, Liverpool are in a difficult situation.

At the beginning of this EPL season, Liverpool, who last season became UCL finalists, actually incised minor statistics.

Of the eight matches that have been played in the English Premier League this season, Liverpool have only been able to pick two wins and four draws.

The 10-point nick also brings the Reds to tenth in the standings.

Only being able to pick 10 points from eight matches marked the Reds’ worst start to the Premier League stage in the last 10 years.

In the same period, to be precise in the 2012/2013 season, Liverpool could only collect nine points.

At the end of the season, the Reds had to settle for ending the competition in seventh place.

After the match against Arsenal, Klopp could no longer hide his disappointment.

Last season’s impressive performance, when he was able to keep his chances of winning four titles at once, seemed not to be left this season.

“We are not in the race for the title (English Premier League). At the moment, we have quite a big problem,” Klopp said.

“However, we have to continue. With this situation, we have to keep fighting. We are not in a pleasant situation, especially for what happened last season,” said Klopp.

The German coach also highlighted the storm of injuries that the Reds had experienced earlier this season.

Even though he has been able to field Thiago, Jordan Henderson, Diogo Jota, and Harvey Elliot, Klopp will most likely lose a number of mainstay players for the same reason.

In the match against the Gunners, Luis Diaz is known to have suffered an injury. The Colombian player was forced to withdraw at the turn of the half.

The same thing happened to Trent Alexander-Arnold. The England right-back is known to have swelling in the ankle.

“The situation we are in is really difficult. On top of that are the injuries to the players. It’s as if all the decisions we’ve taken are fruitless,” he said.

“We lost even though we had some good moments. A draw (against Arsenal) was a more deserving result for us,” said Klopp.
