Real Madrid won dramatically over Barcelona in Week 11 of the 2023-2024 Spanish League. Los Blancos narrowly won with a final score of 2-1.
Playing at Camp Nou, Saturday (28/9/2023) evening WIB, Barcelona actually took the lead through Ilkay Gundogan’s quick goal. However, Jude Bellingham then became Real Madrid’s hero thanks to his brace in the second half.
The game immediately ran at a fairly fast tempo from the start. Playing in front of their own supporters, Barcelona did not hesitate to attack directly into Real Madrid’s defense area.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Los Blancos tend to slow down the tempo of the game. Carlo Ancelotti’s troops looked for opportunities through counter-attack schemes.
The host team immediately gave a surprise. Ilkay Gundogan broke Barcelona’s deadlock with a quick goal in the sixth minute.

Towards the end of the match, Bellingham was once again Real Madrid’s hero. The English midfielder scored a goal in the final minutes and gave Real Madrid a 2-1 lead at the end of the match.
With this result, Barcelona sits in third place in the current 2023-2024 Spanish League standings. Meanwhile, Real Madrid is at the top of the standings with a 4 point lead over Barcelona.

Modric seemed impressed by the actions shown by Jude Bellingham since coming to Real Madrid in the summer of 2023. For him, Bellingham has extraordinary talent.
Modric also appreciated the greatness of the English player who was able to immediately adjust in his first season with Real Madrid. That way, Jude Bellingham can immediately show his quality on the field.
“I don’t know how to explain what happened to Jude. It seemed like he had been here for a long time. “It’s not a coincidence that he adapts very well,” said Modric, quoted from the Football Espana page, Sunday (29/10/2023).
Modric himself feels that Jude Bellingham’s talent cannot be doubted. So, he ensured that Real Madrid would be lucky enough to have players for the next few seasons.
“He’s a top player, an extraordinary talent,” said Luka Modric.
Modric is also confident that Bellingham’s goal collection with Real Madrid will continue to increase. So far, the 20 year old player has recorded 13 goals in 13 appearances for Real Madrid in various competitions.
“I don’t think he even believes in the goal he scored. Now, he can’t stop,” explained Modric.
