Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is reportedly keen to join La Liga giants Real Madrid. The 29-year-old striker is currently asking his agents to join Real Madrid. Determined to realise his dream by signing in favour of the Los Blancos, the centre forward would push his representatives to sell his services to the Madrid executives.
However, despite his effectiveness in front of the goal for years, the Polish knows that his ambition will be tough to achieve.
Bayern Munich CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, previously criticised his player for being forced to go in this summer transfer market. He said if Real Madrid became Lewandowski’s dream club.
“It would be a pity, if he actually saw it that way. Loyalty is part of Bayern’s DNA and very important to our fans,” Rummenigge said to media.
“For a long time now we have a serious and successful philosophy that brought us big success. I stick with our chancellor who said the fees should be regulated and reduced.”
“Obviously Robert was bothered by PSG’s transfer. He is hired with us as a football player and earns a lot of money. I regret what he said.” Rummenigge added.
Rummenigge also added each players who made the obvious criticisms will face with him as long as they are under Bayern’s contract.
“Whoever publicly criticises the club or his tem-mates will get in trouble with me personally. He already made false claims last season following the Freiburg match, where he claimed he had not been supported enough.” Rummenigge said.
“I don’t think the player’s might is that high. And he can see that when he looks at his contract. He signed until 2021 without a depature clause.” he added.

Karim Benzema, meanwhile, remains an undisputed wearing of number 9 under the the role of manager Zinedine Zidane at the moment.
Accoding to reports, Benzema will be sooner extended by Madrid with a release clause to 1 billion euros. And instead of seeking a real rival, Madrid would like to find a future successor to the former Lyonnais star.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, are ready to welcome the Polish international player. They need players like Lewandowski to strengthen the forward of Madrid. In addition, since Alvaro Morata leaves to Chelsea this summer.
