Ligue 1 Results: 7 Goal Drama, Les Parisiens Secure Full Points!

The results of PSG vs AS Monaco in the 2023-2024 French League are already known. The match in week 13 was won by Les Parisiens – PSG’s nickname – with a score of 5-2.

The PSG vs AS Monaco match which was held at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris, on Saturday (25/11/2023) was marked by the drama of 7 goals. PSG’s goals were created through the actions of Goncalo Ramos (18′), Kylian Mbappe (39′), Ousmane Dembele (70′), Vitinha (72′), and Randal Kolo Muani (90+6′).

A fierce duel was presented in the first round. Buying and selling attacks directly colored the match because both teams wanted to open up the lead first.

PSG themselves had a golden opportunity in the seventh minute. Unfortunately, Kylian Mbappe’s hard kick at that time was blocked by AS Monaco goalkeeper Philipp Kohn.

In the 18th minute, PSG finally broke the deadlock. Goncalo Ramos managed to take advantage of the goalkeeper’s mistake to fire a shot into the goal. PSG also leads 1-0!

Unfortunately, 4 minutes later, AS Monaco managed to equalize through the action of Takumi Minamino. He took advantage of Gianluigi Donnarumma’s big mistake to put the ball into PSG’s goal. The score was tied at 1-1.

In the 39th minute, PSG was awarded a penalty by the referee. The reason is, Magassa committed a violation against Mbappe in a prohibited area. Mbappe, who stepped up as the penalty taker, managed to carry out his duties well so that PSG returned to a 2-1 lead.

In the remaining time of the match, both teams continued to try to score additional goals. Unfortunately, the efforts of both teams did not produce good results. The 2-1 score for PSG was maintained until the end of the first half.

In the second half, the fierce duel continued. Both teams appeared determined to add to their goal collections. In the 70th minute, PSG managed to widen its lead over AS Monaco.

It is Ousmane Dembele who has now listed his name on the scoreboard. He managed to make good use of a pass from Fabian Ruiz. PSG also took a 3-1 lead.

Two minutes later, PSG broke into AS Monaco’s goal again. Vitinha fired an extraordinary shot after receiving a pass from Mbappe. PSG leads 4-1.

Left far behind, AS Monaco did not remain silent. In the 75th minute, they reduced their deficit through the action of Folarin Balogun who received a great pass from Minamino. The score became 2-4.

Even though they are still quite far ahead, PSG doesn’t seem satisfied. Towards the end of the match, they added to their goal collection through the action of Randal Kolo Muani (90+6′). Not long after, the referee blew the whistle to signal the end of the match. PSG also secured full points after winning 5-2.
