Lionel Messi believes that Barcelona were superb and better to all of their rivals on their way to the Spanish La Liga title race this season.
Barca are unbeaten at the top of the LaLiga standings with 86 points from 34 games. They seal their La Liga title with four games to go and cannot be reached to nearest rival, Atletico Madrid.
Catalans were crowned La Liga titles for the 25th timer after beating Deportivo La Coruna 4-2 on Sunday night with the help of a hat-trick from Messi. They successfully win seven La Liga titles in the last ten seasons.
They also ended the season with double titles. Previously, they had a 5-0 victory over Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final last week.
Atletico so far have 75 points after playing 35 games, 11 points behind Barca, with three games remaining, the Los Rojiblancos hard to reach the standings leader in coming weeks.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, are now at third position in the La Liga with 71 points from 34 games. Valencia on the other hand, they have 67 points from 35 games so far.
“We were very superior to other rivals. We did not lose games practically, on one in the Copa del Rey and, unfortunately, the Champions League, which was unexpected because of how we arrived. The truth is it has a lot of merit. It’s very difficult.” Messi said.
Andres Iniesta has added his title in Barcelona after winning La Liga this season. He remains emotional because this will be his last title with the club.

Iniesta is undergoing his last season with Barcelona. The 33-year-old midfielder has announced he will leave from the Camp Nou at the end of the season.
However, Argentine maestro Messi told to media that he would to see the skipper with a treble, but Barcelona were defeat in the Champions League quarter-finals by Italian Serie A club AS Roma last month.
“We regret it in the Champions League that he cannot go with a treble. But I think he goes in an impressive way, a double more than deserved for what he is and for all that he gave the club. We wish him the best.” Messi said.
