Liverpool managed to snatch the top position of the Premier League standings from Manchester City after beating Manchester United in the postponed match week 30. The Liverpool vs Man United duel which was held at Anfield Stadium, Tuesday (19/4/2022) local time, ended with a landslide victory for the host.
The Reds, nicknamed Liverpool, successfully bulldozed Manchester United with a score of 4-0. Mohamed Salah is again a frightening specter for Man United. This time, Salah scored two goals each in the 22nd and 85th minutes. Two of the Reds’ other goals against Man United were recorded by Luis Diaz in the 5th minute and Sadio Mane in the 68th minute.
The Premier League result led Liverpool to climb to the top of the standings, beating Manchester City.
