Losing to Man United is a Nightmare for Liverpool

Liverpool player Mohamed Salah said the match against Manchester United was very important for the campaign of the two teams in the 2020-2021 Premier League. Man United are top of the standings, while Liverpool are in third place.

The match, titled North West Derby, will take place at Liverpool’s cage, Anfield Stadium, Sunday (17/1/2021). Liverpool are not in good shape ahead of this big match.

Liverpool have not performed well in their last four matches across competitions. The Reds – the nickname Liverpool – have only won once, while the remaining three matches ended in one defeat and two draws.

When Liverpool slumped, Man United appeared neatly. The Red Devils-nicknamed Man United- achieved positive results in the last 10 matches. Man United won seven, drew two and lost only once.

Most recently, Man United won 1-0 at Burnley in the postponed match of the first week of the Premier League. The victory led Man United to first place in the standings with a collection of 36 points. Man United are three points ahead of Liverpool.

If they lose, Liverpool will be six points behind Man United so that it will be burdensome for them to retain the Premier League title. Therefore, Salah views the match against Man United as very important, especially for Liverpool.

Victory must be won by Liverpool in order to match Man United’s point collection while returning to first place. Liverpool must perform better than the previous four games to win tonight

“The game at the moment is very big, especially because now they (Man United) are in first position and we are below it. We have to win, ”said Mohamed Salah on TV2, as quoted by Liverpool’s official website, Sunday (17/1/2021).

“If they win they will be six points ahead and if you win you will equal their points. It’s a bit of a privilege in this match, “he said.

Liverpool are in a slump, but the Reds can hope for Anfield Stadium’s luck. Liverpool are unbeaten in 67 home games in the Premier League. The awesomeness of Anfield Stadium will help Liverpool against Man United.
