Lasted for approximately 6 days, ESL One Hamburg 2019 has finally been held yesterday (27/10) Bringing together 12 teams, the tournament which was previously colored by the withdrawal of these 2 teams successfully issued TNC Predator as champions!
The tournament with a total prize of around USD 300,000 was attended by 12 teams including; Virtus.pro, TNC Predator, Vici Gaming, Ninjas in Pajamas, Team Liquid, Beastcoast, Quincy Crew, Gambit Esports, Vikin.gg, Fighting PandaS, Wind and Rain, and Alliance.
Being the only SEA region marking, TNC Predator immediately step on the gas by successfully dominating the tournament title even since the ESL One Hamburg group stage took place.
Bagging 4 wins, 1 draw and even without defeat, Gabbi and his friends managed to continue the winning trend by being able to wipe out the main round match against Alliance and Gambit Esports with the same score 2-0.
Ensuring a place in the final through the upper bracket, TNC Predator was again challenged by the Gambit Esports team who previously performed mighty by defeating the champion DreamLeague Season 12, Alliance.
It was very fierce, even the final round between TNC Predator and Gambit Esports had to force both teams to play 5 games in full. Both teams are equally unwilling to budge and take turns in winning points.
Even so, TNC Predator finally succeeded in winning the fifth game after Armel who used Alchemist and was able to level the Gambit Esports defense within 29 minutes and successfully issued TNC Predator as the 2019 ESL One Hamburg champion.
Being the first Southeast Asian team to win the ESL One title since it was first held in 2014, TNC Predator successfully pocketed prize money valued at USD $ 125,000 and the prestigious ESL trophy.
Meanwhile, the MVP title was won by Park “March” Tae-won. The South Korean supplier who plays as a support is entitled to a Mercedes-Benz car.
March himself is a new player from TNC Predator, he joined in mid-September 2019 yesterday along with other new players namely KPI.
Congratulations, of course, for TNC Predator who made a new history at ESL One Hamburg 2019 and successfully proved to the public that the SEA region is also capable of achieving titles and achievements!
