Dolah has made right decision. He had no choice after Malaysia squad was defeat 10 – 0 contra United Arab Emirate for the 2019 Asian Cup at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The worst soccer performance history hit Malaysia soccer squad.
“I am responsible for the defeat and taken the decision to quit as the national coach with immediate effect.” Dollah said.
Dollah Salleh said he made the decision to quit because too worry that the fans of Malaysia soccer squad would not accept the result match.
Previously, Malaysia squad defeat 6 – 0 against Palestine, and played no goal against Timor Leste. Malaysia toward into this Group A component on the back of a goalless draw contra Bangladesh in a friendly, last Saturday.
Dollah Salleh was appointed as head coach of Malaysia national football squad on June 2014 by signing 2 years contract. He led Malaysia to win second place during the AFF Suzuki Cup in 2014.
After Dollah Salleh resigned, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) replaced Ong Kim Swee as new interim Malaysia national coach. Ong Kim Swee was pointed based on his experienced as coach and including as a national squad controller for four months claimed AFM.

After being named as a new coach, Kim Swee claims that he will focus to improve Malaysia squad performance. He believes that players can bounce back from the defeat, and he hopes his appointment on national squad can give the players a rise and recover the confidence of the players.
Ong Kim Swee also said to the media that he didn’t want to think about the past.
“Nobody wanted to lose 10 – 0 from UAE. Not the players, and definitely the coaches but things already happened, and I am being given this task to take care of the national squad temporarily because I have done it before.”
Malaysia are now at the base of their group in the World Cup 2018 / 2019 qualifying campaign.
Previously, the Ministry of Youths and Sports Khairy Jamaludin threats to freeze FAM after embarrassing match. Khairy Jamaludin wants to hold special meeting with FAM, he also impulse the FAM top management along with exco line-up to be responsible for the worst performance.
Khairy also ruled that the squad’s training be temporarily suspended until an internal fact-finding committee set up by National Sports Council (MSN) finished.
