Manchester City have completed the signing of Belgian winger Jeremy Doku on a five-year contract from French club Rennes, the Premier League champions announced on Thursday.
ESPN reported on Monday that City had agreed a 65 million euro ($71 million) deal with Rennes to secure the 21-year-old’s services.
Doku becomes Man City’s third signing this summer and replaces Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez, who made a move to Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli earlier this summer.
City have signed midfielder Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea and centre-back Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.
Doku has scored 12 goals in 91 games for Rennes since joining from Anderlecht in 2020.
He played 14 times for Belgium, scored two goals and was named in the 2022 World Cup squad.
