Man City Wants to Sign Harry Kane and Jack Grealish

Manchester City are starting to move in the 2021 summer transfer market. According to ESPN’s report, Man City want to land Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) to the Etihad Stadium.

As is known, Kane has reportedly informed Tottenham about his intention to leave this summer. After playing for Tottenham for 12 years, the England striker wants to move to a team that can help him win trophies.

For your information, Kane has not once won a championship medal in his professional career. In fact, the striker who dropped out of the Tottenham academy has above average quality. He is Tottenham’s all-time top scorer with 221 goals in 336 appearances.

Meanwhile, Grealish is not in the same situation as Kane. Grealish looks still comfortable at the Villa. The England midfielder has just extended his contract at Villa until June 30, 2025.

However, Man City have a chance to bring Grealish. Because, Villa has just landed a player with a similar type to Grealish, namely Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City.

The plan, Man City will unite Kane and Grealish with their compatriot, Phil Foden, up front. If the transfers of Kane and Grealish materialize, Man City’s front line next season will be even more qualified.

Despite having to spend large sums of money for Kane and Grealish, it is not a problem for Man City. Because, the chairman of Man City, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, has prepared a lot of money to buy players this summer.

“One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that you have to constantly bring talent into the team, refreshing, and especially when you’re at a high level, at the top,” Khaldoon said. 6/2021).

“After winning the league, it’s really not the time to sit back and settle down. That will be your biggest mistake. This is actually a time to send a strong message, that there is no complacency and we are not content with just winning the league.”

“We are missing a very important legend in Sergio Aguero, a very difficult shoe to fill, but I am sure we will find the right players to fill that shoe,” Khaldoon said.

“There are other areas in the team that need investment, not too much. It’s not about numbers, it’s about quality,” said the 46-year-old.
