Furthermore, the fate of Man United’s match against Brighton at the weekend is not yet clear. It is very likely that the match which will be played at Old Trafford Stadium will be postponed.

Meanwhile, Brighton coach Graham Potter had previously asked the Premier League to cancel the match against Wolverhampton considering the Covid-19 outbreak in Europe is currently experiencing a spike. However, the request was rejected and eventually played anyway. As a result, Brighton lost 0-1.

Then on the other hand, the Burnley vs Watford match which was originally scheduled to take place at Turf Moor Stadium, Thursday (16/12/2021) this morning also had to be postponed.

The delay was due to the fact that many of the Watford squad were exposed to Covid-19. As previously noted, the match between Man United and Brentford FC has been postponed. This is because many players and staff have been exposed to the Covid-19 virus.

That means, until now there have been three Premier League matches that have been postponed. Among them are Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton and most recently, Burnley vs Watford.
