Marc Marquez Is Suggested to Leave Repsol Honda

Marc Marquez has been suggested to leave Repsol Honda after the team’s struggles in recent years.

The six-time MotoGP world champion is under contract with Honda until the end of the 2024 season, but there have been reports that he could find a way out early if the team does not improve.

Honda has not won a MotoGP race since 2019 and has been consistently off the pace of the leading teams, such as Yamaha and Ducati.

Marquez has also struggled with injuries in recent years, which has hampered his performance.

In a recent interview, Marquez said that he is “committed” to Honda, but he also hinted that he could leave if the team does not improve.

“I have a contract with Honda for next year,” Marquez said.

“The target is to improve the bike, and at the Misano test. It’s not like I have heard ‘just wait in 2023 because 2024 is another year’. MotoGP is a constant evolution.” he added.

If Marquez does leave Honda, there are a number of teams that would be interested in signing him.

KTM is one of the teams that has been linked with Marquez, and the Austrian manufacturer could offer him a competitive bike and a chance to win races.

Another option for Marquez is to stay in MotoGP and join a different team, such as Yamaha or Ducati.

Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to leave Honda is up to Marquez. However, the team’s recent struggles and Marquez’s injury history suggest that he may be considering his options.

It will be interesting to see what Marquez decides to do in the coming months. If he does leave Honda, it would be a major blow for the team and would further shake up the MotoGP grid.
