After Qatar Grand Prix, Marc Marquez had to begin to feel the pressure on his shoulders and if until recently, the Spanish had not clearly confessed to him or maybe even if he did not confess to himself, but it is done.
However, Marc Marquez reportedly did not want to talk about the pressure when playing his last card in MotoGP after three Grand Prix series and well took it since Austin GP is not a easy victory he has conguered.
“It was a pretty tough race, especially at the beginning. I was calm because I had a hard front tire. From the middle of the race, I began to realise that I could do it,” Marquez said.
After Argentina in fact I was a little worried. At first behind Dani, I thought “Let’s do half the race behind him” then when I saw that he was starting to stall, I left. From a psychological point of view, it was important to finish in front of Vinales, or at least on podium. After Rio Hondo I was very away, there I made a serious mistake and I did not want to repeat it. Today, there are only 18 points between me and Rossi, less than one race.
“I have the greatest for Rossi, he is 38 years old and he is still here. Until today, he has not yet been the fastest but he has been the most regular.” Marquez added.
Speaking about the clash between Zarco and Rossi in the Austin GP, Marquez says Rossi’s complaining of too aggressive and dictated by the lack experience of former Moto2 rider. The world champion is certainly well placed to talk about it because for four seasons he has had the opportunity to calm down and ripen a piloting that seems to become more and more perfect.

“It’s true Johann was aggressive, I do agree with Rossi and all of us in MotoGP. For this reason, we should not be surprised to see overtaking, it is to be expected. That being said, the sanction is not fair. He could not do otherwise, and in addition there three-tenths would not have been of any use.” Marquez said.
