Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly may move to English Premier League clubs.
According to talkSPORT host Alan Brazil, the Argentine is already showing interest in returning and wants a reunion with his old club Tottenham Hotspur.
“Pochettino is not going to United – Man United have been warned by PSG sporting director [Leonardo] that Pochettino has no intention of leaving Paris. Well,” talkSPORT host Alan Brazil said.
“Well I tell you now, that’s not the case. Pochettino wants to go back to the Premier [League] and he wants to go back to Tottenham. He wants to go back to Spurs, I’m not saying it’s going to happen but that’s what he wants.” he added.
Pochettino’s future at PSG has faced some speculation in recent months. He has been heavily linked to Manchester United’s work, which has been looking for a manager since the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Pochettino was sacked from Tottenham in 2019 after leading the club to the Champions League final. However, he still maintains a good relationship with club president Daniel Levy.
Spurs have been underperforming over the past few years, despite having capable players in their squad. The team has not been able to put together a consistent, winning run.
Antonio Conte, who took over the club late last year, said that he expected a situation where he thought he could take the side to glory immediately, but instead found a team that needed to become better at fighting and winning.
“Maybe in my heart, mind and head I thought to find a situation, not better, but [a club] more ready to fight and to win.” Conte said.
Conte has largely been in charge of clubs in the title chase during his career, having previously managed Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan.
