CryptoDATA RNF rider Miguel Oliveira on Friday spoke about his physical problems ahead of Dutch Grand Prix.
Oliveira has insisted to be in better physical and psychological health despite the fact that physical problems are not at the intended level.
“Although the recovery took a short time, I progressed quite well, I also managed to do some muscle strengthening in these two days.” Oliveira said.
“I’m not 100% here, as I’d like to be, but we already knew that in advance. It will be more of a preparation race for the second half of the season.
“Hoping that these five weeks will be one of evolution and arrive well prepared physically for Silverstone” Oliveira added.
With four bikes on the track, and nowadays having to face an “armada” of 8 Ducati bikes, Aprilia’s MotoGP project has grown this year with the arrival of a satellite team, which includes Miguel Oliveira.
The Portuguese rider has addressed the issue on several occasions, and has never shown himself to be particularly “concerned” about not being in the factory team, not least because, as he himself admits.
“We know that the intentions of me being in the project are to help Everything takes on another dimension.” Oliveira said.
“That is Aprilia’s objective also in having a satellite team, not only having bikes collecting information, but also information that helps them take a direction for the future.
“In that sense, things are moving forward, it is never overnight that we get the results, it is always with a lot of preparation work and a lot of persistence, this is the path we have to take now.” he added.
Oliveira finished the GP of Germany in the tenth position after having started from the 15th place in last Sunday’s race.
