Jonas Bjorkman is up for a mission and this mission states that he wants to bring some energy and enjoyment to the practice sessions of Andy Murray. Jonas Bjorkman 42 year old and former semi -finalist of Wimbledon will join Andy Murray team of coaching for a trial period of 5 weeks first this month. The new coach of Andy Murray Jonas Bjorkman in regard to period after this 5 weeks trial of coaching said, “After that we will have time to discuss our roles and how we can approach things”
The main coach of Andy Murray is Amelie Mauresmo but he remains in work with Andy Murray just 25 weeks a year. Regarding who is Jonas Bjorkman, BBC Sports News stated:
“The Swede is a former world number four in singles and a former number one in doubles. He reached the singles semi-finals at both Wimbledon and the US Open, where he lost to Greg Rusedski in 1997, and won all four major titles in doubles”.
For Amelie the main coach of Andy Murray, Jonas Bjorkman said, “I really like the way Amelie believes how Andy should play,”
Jonas Bjorkman is much hopeful and is much pleased with Andy Murray and he thinks just like his previous achievements, he will be earning high victories this year too. Expressing his feelings for Andy Murray, Jonas Bjorkman said, “He is at his prime time with his age, so he has some interesting years ahead of him. Andy is in a great situation right now, he has played some phenomenal tennis.”
