Japanese Naomi Osaka said she has regained the feeling of wanting to compete and may comeback soon in 2022.
Osaka is going through 2021 with a lot of ups and downs. After winning the Australian Open at the beginning of the year, the Japanese player began to plummet without brakes.
Besides, the scandal with the media at Roland Garros also made the 23-year-old star heavily psychologically affected.
Osaka attended last tournament was at the US Open. As in previous tournaments, she did not perform well and was eliminated in the 3rd round against 18-year-old player Leylah Fernandez.

However, in recent sharing with HBO, Naomi has brought good news when admitting she has regained the feeling of wanting to compete and may return soon for the rest of the season.
“I know I will be back on the field. That day will come soon, because I have already started to feel itchy in my limbs. At this point, the story of winning or losing is no longer important to me. I just want to enjoy the feeling of playing.” Osaka said.
“I used to love competitions and am also an avid winner. The longer the matches, the more I like them. But at the moment, I feel more pressure. I need a break to regain my balance,” Osaka added.
With a bad performance on 202, Osaka has dropped to seventh place on the WTA rankings. Before that, she played very successfully when she won 4 Grand Slam titles at the age of 23.
