Natus Vincere, Mineski and Infamous Secure TI9 Tickets!

The struggle for The International 9 (TI9) stage seats is getting hotter. Wednesday (10/7), we finally got to see the first three teams who managed to qualify based on qualifications in each region.

Taking place in the SEA, CIS and South America regions and having passed qualifications for 4 days, finally Mineski, Natus Vincere and Infamous will certainly compete in TI9!

Mineski managed to become a representative of SEA after the final round successfully surprised many parties by beating Team Jinesbrus with a score of 3-2!

Although it was doubted at the beginning of the start of closed qualifications after the joining of Nikobaby and on the first day Mineski had to swallow defeat from BOOM ID, it seems that the Philippine team managed to prove everything.

Here are the composition of players from Mineski who made it to The International 9:

Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov (Carry)
Thurs “Moon” Boon Seng (Support)
Damien “kpii” Chok (Offlaner)
Ryan “Bimbo” Jay Qui (Support)
Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr. (Support, Captain)

Continuing to the land of CIS, their success in getting to The International 9 was also no less surprising. How not, in the group stage only Na’vi had to settle for being ranked before finally making sure to qualify for the playoffs.

But the real struggle of Natus Vincere was proven during the playoffs. Despite having to lose to Vega Squadron in the first game, Crystallize managed to avenge in the final lower bracket while making Vega Squadron have to be eliminated.

Meeting with Winstrike Team in the final round, it turns out Natus Vincere managed to win easily with a score of 3-0 while becoming the second team to make it through qualifying.

Here are the composition of players from Natus Vincere who made it to The International 9:

Vladislav “Crystallize” Krystanek (Carry)
Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian (Midlaner)
Evgeniy “Blizzy” Ree (Offlaner)
Bakyt “Zayac” Emilzhanov (Support)
Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev (Support, Captain)

Finally, although it was rumored to have a problem with a server that was considered to be lagging, South America had found its representative in TI9 namely Infamous.

Infamous is already predicted to be a strong team that will swing smoothly to The International 9.

How not, since the qualifying group round, Infamous managed to show dominance by succeeding in 6 wins and only 1 defeat.

Even though They had lost his pace by having to go down to the lower bracket after having to lose to paiN Gaming with a tight score of 2-1, K1 and the team managed to secure the grand final after defeating EgoBoys.

Reunited in the grand final, Infamous did not play directly offensive and ended the final with a 3-0 victory over paiN Gaming.

The following is a composition of players from Infamous that ensures a place at The International 9:

Hector “K1” Antonio Rodriguez (Carry)
Jean “Chris Brown” Pierre Gonzales (Midlaner)
Adrian “Wisper” Cespedes Dobles (Offlaner)
Elvis “Scofield” De la Cruz Peña (Support)
Steven “Stinger” Vargas (Support, Captain)

Meanwhile, there will still be 3 more qualifications that will take place from 11 to 14 July to fight for the last 3 places at The International 9.

The 3 regions are China, Europe and North America which can be said to be regional with star-studded teams so it is interesting to look at how the qualification works.

What do you think of Mineski, Natus Vincere and Infamous qualifying? Do you have your own team that you think is more entitled to qualify than the three teams mentioned?
