Barcelona will return to Paris Saint-Germain with a fourth and final offer for Neymar potentially worth €200million after the Brazilian forward submitted transfer request.
Neymar is reportedly has been desperate to return to Spain all summer. His future was further questioned after he missed PSG’s all pre-season games in July.
According to reports, Barcelona would be able to make Neymar’s signature permanent for €40million plus Ousmane Dembele. The La Liga giant on the other hand, thinks the alternative option is a loan for the striker which includes an obligatory option of €170m that the club will be required to pay next summer.
Neymar enjoyed so much success with Barcelona, he won La Liga twice, the Copa del Rey three times and the UEFA Champions League, too.
The 27-year-old is also the most expensive striker in history following his €222million move from Camp Nou back in August 2017.
Real Madrid on the other hand, have reportedly ended their interest in signing Neymar this summer because club president Florentino Perez thinks fans aren’t keen on seeing the superstar arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel expects Neymar to stay at Paris beyond the summer transfer window. The German said he had no doubts at all over Neymar’s commitment to the club.
“He will not leave without recruitment, it is not possible. It’s clear, if he stays, we will have a player who will help us win.” Tuchel said.
“I always say the same thing. The transfer window is open for more than ten days still, and you think it will be settled tomorrow or the day after tomorrow?
“For me, nothing has changed with Neymar. He is my player. When I think about a strong team, I think of a squad with Ney.
“Today, we don’t have solutions to take him out of the club, nothing has changed. If there is no solution, he will stay with us.” Tuchel added.
In his two seasons at PSG, during this time Neymar played 58 games in all competitions and scored 5q goals.
