OG revealed a full international roster for the new competitive season with players coming along from three different regions.
Soon after they thanked Enzo “Timado” Gianoli and Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov for their time, OG welcomed onboard Nuengnara “23” Teeramahanon and Leon “Nine” Kirilin. For 23, this will mark his first time playing outside Asia. He arrives at OG after having played for the past couple of years at T1, Talon Esports, and in the past season at Aurora, with whom he placed 7th/8th at The International 2024.
OG’s mid-lane will feature the TI 2022 champion Nine, who returns to active play after taking a full-year competitive break. Nine lifted the Aegis of Champions under the Tundra Esports banner in 2022 in Singapore, but after a botched 2023 season, he took an extended break while his former teammates went different ways. He briefly reunited with Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu and Oliver “skiter” Lepko and reached top 3 with them by standing in for Team Falcons at PGL Wallachia Season 1 in May this year.
According to OG, the new roster featuring Nine and 23 will make its debut next week in the first round of qualifiers for the 2024-2025 competitive season. However, the organization stated that it is “still building” its final roster for the new season, which might mean that the upcoming qualifiers are a trial by fire.
