Former Barcelona player, Dani Alves, did not get special treatment while in jail. The situation became known after an inmate revealed Dani Alves’ condition in the ‘Cuatro al Dia’ program.
“One day Dani Alves was brought out by the prison director and deputy director. They went to show him around the sports area. He’s walking normally. He also doesn’t have a special life, nor is there any special treatment,” he added.
Furthermore, the inmate revealed that Dani Alves seemed very bored with life in prison. “His demeanor looks bored. It’s a very boring life,” said the convict testifying. Dani Alves is said to divert his mind by playing football with a number of other prisoners. “But he’s been playing football, he’s been in the games with the people there,” he said.
As for Dani Alves, he must be behind bars for alleged sexual harassment at a nightclub in the city of Barcelona, Sutton, on December 30, 2022. The sexual harassment case that ensnared Dani Alves began with a woman’s report to the Barcelona Police. The woman accused Dani Alves of inappropriately touching her without consent in a nightclub restroom. Then, the police immediately followed up by processing the woman’s report to court. The former Barcelona player admitted that he was at the Sutton nightclub, Barcelona, at the end of December 2022. However, Dani Alves admitted that he did not know the identity of the woman who reported him and denied having committed sexual harassment.
