Not Newcastle United and Real Madrid, This is Cristiano Ronaldo’s Goal Club in the Summer of 2023

Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal in the summer of 2023 is interesting. This is because a number of Europe’s top clubs have been linked with Ronaldo now, including Newcastle United and Real Madrid.

However, reports circulating say that Ronaldo will not join Newcastle United or return to his old club, Real Madrid. The Portuguese superstar is considered to be moving to Bayern Munich.

Reporting from the Hindustan Times, Friday (26/5/2023), the German League giants, Bayern Munich, are interested in signing Ronaldo. However, if the move does happen, Ronaldo will reportedly have to take a pay cut.

During the 2023 winter transfer market, Ronaldo has indeed been heavily linked with Bayern. However, Die Roten – the nickname of Bayern Munich – also did not sign Ronaldo because of the problem with the megastar’s large salary.

Now, in the summer of 2023, Ronaldo has again been linked with Bayern. The reason is, Cristiano reportedly wants to return to playing in Europe. He also wants to play with a team that is competing in the Champions League.

Ronaldo himself is now known to play with the Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr. The former Real Madrid player has also scored 14 goals and 2 assists in 16 appearances for Al Nassr.

With Ronaldo now back to being ferocious, unlike at Manchester United which had slumped, European clubs are reportedly starting to approach him. In fact, Ronaldo’s contract actually still has a long remaining time with Al Nassr, namely until June 30 2025.

However, his chance to move to another team remains wide open. Moreover, the former Al Nassr manager, Rudi Garcia, also said that Ronaldo would not finish his football career at Al Nassr because he still wanted to return to his career in Europe.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition. He is one of the best players in the world. He will not finish his career at Al-Nassr, he will return to Europe,” concluded Garcia.
