Novak Djokovic has been qualified for the semi – final of Monte Carlo. He will play in the semi – final match against Rafael Nadal. Both of the players played tremendously during the quarter finals and now they will be facing each other in semi – final. The US Open champion Marin Cilic was defeated by world number one tennis player Djokovic by 6 – 0 6 – 3 within the match of 65 minutes. The first eight games were tremendously won by Novak.
For about 8 times, Nadal Rafael has spotted himself as the champion of Monte Carlo. This time for getting qualified for the semi-final, Nadal defeated David Ferrer by 6 – 4 5 – 7 6 -2 in the match of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Nadal appeared to be setting out toward a clear triumph just for Ferrer to break the previous champion when he was serving for the match at 5-4 in the second set. On the other hand, Gael Mkonfils has been qualified for his first semi – final by defeating Grigor Dimitrov. Grigor defeated Wawrinka on Thursday during the third round in Monte Carlo.
On his victory of 6 – 1 6 – 3, Grigor Dimitrov expressed his feelings by saying, “For sure I’m surprised because this is not a period where I’ve played my best tennis so far”.
